Our Love Story
How we met
Little did we know that almost 10 years ago in April 2017, we would meet and begin the life we now share together.
Dylan was outside a nail salon waiting for his roommate, while Liz was inside the nail salon with said roommate… after an alcohol infused Anzac Day long weekend, the vibes were high, a cheeky kiss was exchanged and so our story began.
Fast forward to
Like any good romance, the courtship was long. We casually dated for about 9 months before any real “label” came into play. Shortly after that we moved in together for the first time.
As some of you may be aware of, we had the great split of 2019… *gasp* But I think you know where this is heading… After 11 months apart we rekindled and were better than ever.
As COVID hit we moved back in together in Maroubra, NSW, where we lived until making the big move to the Sunshine Coast, Dylan’s hometown, in 2022.
In 2024 we bought our first home and brought our Fur-baby home, our beloved Arthur.
The proposal
On the 28th of January 2025, Dylan got his knee sandy and proposed during sunset at our local beach in Marcoola, with Arthur right by his side.
Now, in front of our friends and family, we are so excited to start our biggest adventure yet. We cannot wait to share this special day with you all!
